AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is based on 2 Timothy 2:15. It is an international, non-denominational Bible-centered ministry committed to the evangelism and discipleship of children and youth. AWANA is a fun and exciting program effective at getting the gospel into the homes of unsaved families and training our children in the Word of God. This is an action packed ministry where children earn badges and awards through scripture memorization, teamwork, character building exercises, and more.
Sunday nights from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM during the school year are filled with the children learning, singing, and participating in games to learn that “We are, we are, we are winners, because of Jesus!”
